Okay, so the bears are a lie. But they don't have to be! Hmmmm....
No! Brain, sit down here and do this thing that we're doing.
So we haven't posted in a while; life has been happening, as it is wont to do, and we've spent our spoons crafting instead of posting. If you ask us, that is a good use of spoons. We might, however, be biased. But! Given that we spent our weekend at Penguicon and FINALLY gave out a bunch of our new business cards, it's probably time for an update.
For those of you new to the site, hello! At some point we should probably make things more polished. But that point is not this point. We love to create unique handmade things from yarn. We draw most of our inspiration (thus far) from our friends and colleagues, who ask, "Can you make THIS?" And we say, "OF COURSE WE CAN!" and add it to our ever-growing list of projects.
Sheepies

Awwww so cute!
We had the best idea to crochet a bunch of tiny sheep and hand them out with our business cards at Penguicon, to show that we did at least have some small skill and weren't just some no-

gave away about 10 sheep, some without legs - THEY ARE LYING DOWN, OKAY? But now, happily, we have a bunch of adorable sheep we can finish and then have an inventory for the Etsy shop we've been meaning to open for almost a year.
Sleepies
Significant progress has been made on the melatonin blanket! Yesterday, we strung a bunch of the Zs together and then attached them to the main body. WE ARE EXCITE. However, after plowing through our stash, we also realized that SOMEHOW we have run out of the grey yarn. Not a big deal, but we thought we had done a pretty good job of calculating and that turns out to not be the case. We need at least one more skein. Hopefully that is all. But it is coming together just wonderfully! We are just giddy that we've gotten this far in the process.
![]() Mattress stitch to get the Zs together creates an *almost* undetectable join. Probably has more to do with our skill than the stitch. | ![]() Blocking the Zs! | ![]() Kitchener stitch does a great job of joining two pieces with live stitches! |

Here's the blanket with one border side done!
Bears
Um. No bears here. Just move along. ALL HAIL THE GLOW CLOUD.
